How to Participate in Mid-Year

The Mid-Year is a weekend-long youth leadership conference. This year's event will be held January 14-16, 2022 at the Marriott Hotel & Conference Center in Normal.

The Mid-Year allows us to reconnect with youth and adults six months after the CGTI summer conference and is also a great introduction to CGTI programming for new attendees. Participants range from 6th to 12th grade and attend each year to advance their leadership skills and prevention education while working together to create, adapt or update plans to better their communities. Adult mentors can attend with students to provide support, structure and guidance during the conference and throughout the remainder of the school year. Participants that have graduated high school can serve as volunteer staff. You can learn more about the different registration opportunities below!
