2017 CEBRIN GOODMAN TEEN INSTITUTE

Sunday, July 16 – Thursday, July 20, 2017 at Eastern Illinois University in Charleston, IL 


Middle School/High School and PALS Participants

This application is for anyone entering 7th - 12th grade for the 2017-2018 school year. 

  • Registration Fee: $359/participant
    • An additional 3% fee applies for all online applications.
  • PALS Program: For anyone who has completed a minimum one year as a high school participant and will be entering 11th or 12 grade for the next school year. If you completed the PALS program in 2016, you will apply as a Youth Staff. Incoming freshman and sophomores are not eligible to apply for PALS. 
  • Deadline: June 9, 2017

*Transportation is not provided to or from CGTI.

Adult Mentors

Adult Mentors attend CGTI with a group of participants and are responsible for facilitating their Community Action Team (CAT) meetings. They will also work with the students throughout the year to assist in the implementation of their action plans. Mentors also have the opportunity to attend TRAX, Round Robins, and General Sessions.

Youth Staff Applications

Youth Staff are participants who have completed the PALS program and will be entering 12th grade for the upcoming school year, 2017-2018, OR is a 2017 graduate who has not yet completed Youth Staff. 

  • Application Deadline: May 5, 2017 

Alumni Luncheon

The Cebrin Goodman Teen Institute will be hosting an alumni luncheon for all of the alumni that have participated, volunteered and been impacted by these amazing prevention programs through the years!  

The luncheon will take place from 12:00-3:00 PM on Sunday, July 16 on the campus of Eastern Illinois University.  After the luncheon, all alumni are invited to attend the opening ceremonies of the 43rd Institute. 

The cost is $25/adult and $15/child. Children under 5 are free. Deadline is June 9. Please follow the link on the confirmation page to submit your registration fee or email Ashley Webb, to be directly invoiced for more than 1 registration.
